I know this will be an incendiary thread. But here goes...

The entire internet has been deluged with news and videos of the new C8 Corvette.

Suffice to say, I haven't wanted a Corvette since the 1962 C1 model.
However I am really impressed with the new C8. It strikes me as a Ferrari 488 for 1/3 the price.

I've even contemplated trading my Mustang for one!

And no, I haven't ordered a Mr T Gold chain starter kit.

I'd probably wait until next year before ordering one. And this is what it would look like..

Ok, let's hear the comments!

Why don’t you wait until they come out with the Z06 model before making any decisions? The base Corvette is nice and all but they higher performance models will be true super car killers.

great car but not a Corvette IMO, trying to be something it's not. Corvette= long hood short deck, the proportions are all out of whack. And before anyone regurgitates the BS about oh we had run out of performance potential with the front engine design, look at a Ferrari 812 Superfast nearly 800hp from a front engined platform

There Ripper, Fixed your spelling again.

And, BTW, I believe your daily drivers have been Mopars and BMWs!

I actually would love to have one, it’s a great design and a lot research went into it to make it appealing... for a chebby!

Curious what the price hike is going to look like. They’ve already acknowledged the first year pricing won’t hold.
I do like the car though.
